2. Government & Public Data Sources

BIDS aggregates publicly available information from federal data sources including SAM.gov, SBIR.gov, Grants.gov, and USASpending.gov, as well as selected state and local procurement portals as coverage expands.

BIDS is an independent product of The Freedom Project, LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any U.S. government agency or state or local government entity. Agency names, logos, and source systems are referenced for identification only.

Information surfaced through BIDS may be delayed, incomplete, or change without notice at the source. Users are responsible for independently verifying opportunity details, eligibility, deadlines, and submission requirements directly with the issuing agency before taking action.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

We make no guarantees of specific outcomes or results from using BIDS, including contract awards, grant awards, revenue, or business growth. Results vary based on individual business circumstances, market conditions, industry, execution, and other factors outside our control. We cannot be held liable for business decisions made based on information presented in BIDS.

BIDS links to external agency portals, solicitation pages, and third-party resources. The Freedom Project is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or reliability of external websites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement. We have no control over linked sites and accept no responsibility for loss or damage arising from your use of them.

5. AI & Automation Disclaimer

BIDS uses artificial intelligence and automation to extract business keywords, score opportunity matches, and draft summaries and capture materials. These features assist and augment — not replace — human judgment. Draft outputs may contain errors or omissions and should always be reviewed by a qualified person before being acted upon.

The Freedom Project is not liable for errors, omissions, or consequences arising from the use of draft or automated content, or automated matching, in BIDS.

6. BIDS Agent Browser Extension

The BIDS Agent Chrome/Edge browser extension (“BIDS Agent”) is an assistive tool available to Agent plan subscribers. It reads saved profile data from your BIDS account and types it into government procurement forms that you have open in your browser, in the same manner as a password manager or browser autofill utility.

User responsibility. You are solely and fully responsible for reviewing all information auto-filled by BIDS Agent before submitting any government form, application, registration, certification, grant application, bid response, or any other document to any federal, state, local, or other government body. BIDS Agent provides a review step and audit log, but the presence of these features does not transfer responsibility for submitted information from you to The Freedom Project.

Submission interception. BIDS Agent attempts to prompt you to complete a review step before standard HTML form submissions and certain button-triggered submissions on supported portals. This interception is provided on a best-effort basis and may not function on all government or procurement websites, including those built on Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks. The absence of an interception prompt does not relieve you of your obligation to review auto-filled content.

No connection to government servers. BIDS Agent operates entirely within your own browser session. It does not connect to SAM.gov, Grants.gov, state procurement portals, or any other government server. It reads your saved BIDS profile and types into forms you already have open. BIDS Agent is not a bot and does not submit forms on your behalf.

Accuracy of profile data. BIDS Agent fills forms using the business profile information you have saved in your BIDS account. You are responsible for keeping your BIDS profile accurate and current. The Freedom Project is not responsible for errors in submitted government forms that result from inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information in your BIDS profile.

Scope of use. BIDS Agent is intended for use in lawful government procurement activities only, including but not limited to vendor registrations, annual SAM.gov renewals, grant applications, certification filings, and bid platform vendor profiles. Use of BIDS Agent to fill forms for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your account.

Audit log. BIDS Agent logs which profile fields were used in each session, the portal visited, and whether you completed the review sign-off step. These records are retained as part of your BIDS Audit Log and cannot be deleted. Field values themselves are not logged by the extension.

No warranty. BIDS Agent is provided “as is.” The Freedom Project makes no warranty that the extension will function on any particular portal, intercept any particular form submission, or prevent any erroneous submission. The Freedom Project shall not be liable for any fines, penalties, contract losses, debarment, or other consequences arising from information submitted to any government body through use of BIDS Agent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Freedom Project, LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, BIDS or information derived from it. By using BIDS, you accept this disclaimer in full.

8. Accuracy of Information

While we make reasonable efforts to keep BIDS current and accurate, we make no warranty or representation, express or implied, as to the accuracy or completeness of aggregated opportunity data, match scores, or summaries. The Freedom Project reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without notice.
