Start a session
Click "Start Guided Session" from any opportunity in BIDS, or go to Submission Workspace and pick a portal. BIDS opens the portal in a secure cloud browser.
Log in (once ever)
If you've used this portal before, you're already logged in — BIDS saves your session. New portal? Log in once and BIDS remembers it for every future session.
BIDS analyzes the form
Navigate to the form you want to fill. Click "Analyze Form" — BIDS reads every field and streams suggestions directly from your business profile.
Approve what you want
All high-confidence suggestions are pre-checked. Uncheck anything you'd rather fill manually. You're always in control — nothing is applied without your approval.
Apply & review
Click "Apply Selected Fields" — BIDS fills the approved fields server-side. Review everything on the portal, make any edits you want.
Submit yourself
You click Submit on the portal. BIDS never submits for you — the final action is always yours.
Sign & Record
Click "Sign & Record Session" to lock a SHA-384 tamper-evident audit receipt into your Submissions log.

Navigate to any portal
Open any government procurement portal in your browser — SAM.gov, Grants.gov, state portals, any of them.
Extension detects the form
When you land on a page with a form, the BIDS Agent sidebar activates automatically and reads the form structure.
Review suggested values
BIDS matches the form against your profile and suggests values in the sidebar — same engine as Guided Sessions, typically in under 2 seconds.
One-click apply
Click "Apply Suggestions" — the extension fills the approved fields directly in your browser. No cloud browser needed.
Submit
Submit the form as normal. The extension logs the fill in your BIDS Submissions log.
1. DOM Extraction
BIDS reads every form field on the page — labels, types, options, required flags — and builds a structured map of the form in milliseconds.
2. Profile Matching
BIDS matches each field to your business profile — business name, UEI, CAGE code, NAICS, certifications, capabilities — and assigns a confidence score to each suggestion. Analysis streams in under 2 seconds.
3. Vision Fallback
If a form uses images or custom widgets that can't be read from the DOM, BIDS automatically takes a screenshot and identifies fields visually.
What BIDS never does
Guided Sessions use Browserbase Persistent Contexts — your login session (cookies, tokens) is securely saved after your first visit to each portal. Next time you start a session, you're already in. No password re-entry, no MFA dance — just navigate to your form and analyze.
You can revoke saved logins at any time from your profile settings. Contexts are isolated per user and per portal.

SOC 2 Type II
Browserbase is SOC 2 Type II certified. Your cloud browser sessions run in an isolated, certified environment.
Zero data retention
No session recordings. No request/response logs. Browser sessions are destroyed after use.
US data residency
All sessions run in US-East. Your data never leaves the United States.
Tamper-evident receipts
Every session you sign gets a SHA-384 hash locked to the fill log — a proof of what was filled and when.
Row-level security
Your session data in Supabase is isolated by user ID with row-level security. Other users cannot access your records.
Sensitive fields protected
EIN, Tax ID, SSN, and password fields are excluded from form analysis and auto-fill by server-enforced rules.
